HEALTH
The other day I received a complimentary email from "Martha". She had read the interview in AARP's March issue and noted the photograph of me. Martha wanted to know what my health regime was and felt I should share it with other folks. So, here it is as I enter my 85th year. I work out nearly everyday for about an hour, either with a trainer or by taking a brisk walk. Twice a week I get a massage. I eat three healthy meals a day and I'm known to eat the occasional piece of "See's" or dish of ice cream. I still smoke a cigar everyday (not during Lent, however) and have a "finger" of Dewers each evening. I'm technically retired, but still engage in some business, my foundation and other philanthropy of interest. I throw catch with my dog and try to keep up with my 8 grandchildren. I believe I was blessed with "good" genes, so I intend to continue to do whatever I can to make the most of my life.

I was quite happy reading you routine. May the global corporate leader like you live for centuries. Incidentally, i was reading your biography and I was also turning pages on articles regarding auto debacle, same time. May the leader like you save the world, families, workers and the legendary firms. Wish you a happy healthy life ahead.
I wish you a long and healthy life.
How funny that you have a blog, I think that's great...! Good for you for working out and making sure you last another 30 years on this crazy planet. Just the other day, I wondered what someone like Lee would do in this mess that the automobile industry is in, if you were running the show. All the best my friend...! Enjoy your Dewers...!

Heres wishing you the best of health!
I would like to see a post from you on the Chrysler bankruptcy
Yes indeed, your take on the Chrysler situation would be of great interest.
Also: what would you have done differently as Chrysler CEO, if you'd known then what you know now? eg: might you and the others of the Big 3 have negociatied differently with the unions, given the inescapable fact of the onrushing world economy?
Reading your daily routine sir challenges me. Your statement about your technical retirement is great but yout thoughts about the current global recession affecting giant car makers will be greatly appreciated.
I Love you with the Love of Christ and wish you long and longer life on this earth.

Whatever you are doing, keep it up!! My dad was 92 last Thursday and he is also in great shape - both mentally and physically.
Lee, we need your comments and leadership! A man of your experience simply can't keep quiet at this critical time in our country's life. What have we done wrong and what can we do to correct the situation we're in?
Lee, its great to know that you are in good health...May you live long...
I found your autobiography a superb read and the one to which I can turn back, refer and rely on, in the times of situational needs...
Take care. Have a good health and life ahead...
Lee, Your routine is a very good example for us, Keep It Up...
Take Care of your Health
Dear Lee
You inspiered me during my early Buisiness aproaches and you still do. I like your straight talk as well as your thoughts on Leadership. I hope to read something from you about the current Crisis. I am just half your age but i hope to be as active as you are when i grew older.
I hope that everything you wish will come true.
All the best from Germany
Mr. Iacocca,
I've been listening to your book, "Where Have All the Leaders Gone?". To be honest I was at the library looking for something "business" and had no real expectations when I grabbed your audio book from selection that was slim pickins at best. Man, I'm so glad I did. I'm 39 years old. My Dad was older when he and Mom had me, 45-years-old, making him around your age.
The more I learn about you the more I admire you. I am married with three young girls. I'm working my ass off to raise them right. We send them to Catholic School. I don't want to ramble here but I will be teaching my girls about you and I wanted to let you know you have a fan in Oconomowoc, WI.
God Bless,
Dan Mowbray
A healthy mind needs a healthy body ! Your example should become compulsory for everyone opting for surgery for weight loss. Discipline is the word ! Wish you a life as long as you consider it worth living and i wish you that you live your life the way you would wish to have lived when your last day comes!

Our America needs more than just a voting citizen. This year among livelihood tribulations I have dedicated myself to become more active. We (our country) needs your sponsorship and help. Please review GOOOH.com and author Tim Cox and see if your ideas and his may be the stimulus action our country and you could embrace.
I did not believe what you did at Chrysler was possible. Your success has been inspirational and I have often used you as an example of how good management can make a difference. Success does not just happen.
I was amazed that Michael M. Phillips of the WSJ (Sep 26-27, 2009)credited the Carter Administration's intercession for Chrylser avoiding bankruptcy in the 1980's. He made no mention of Lee Iacocca.

I read your first book, your autobigraphy twenty years ago while I was studying for engineering. Till then I used to consult your book again and again for valuable tips. Now I am delighted to hear about your health secrets. I wish you a Long Happy Life!
Dear Mr. Iacocca,
I know this post is old. So I just say I'm glad your watching your health, try to get alot of vitamin C (citrus fruit.)
I like you remaining a thorn in the side of bad business and showing us how to do the same.
I also wish you a happy long life.
Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas, Shane
